Somewhere, out there, is the baby who will complete the picture of a loving family. We can't wait to hold our son or daughter in our arms and experience the joy -- and responsibility -- of raising a child.
We have so much to offer; stable incomes, a warm and comfortable home, a supportive circle of family and friends, and, most of all, unconditional love.
But we can't have a child on our own. Ten years ago, I had cancer, and although the treatments were successful and I'm completely cured now, I am unable to father a child. And we've already tried every other option to conceive a child.
Few things are more painful than infertility, and it breaks my heart to watch my wife suffer. In the last seven years alone, we've spent $50,000 on infertility treatments. In spite of all our hopes, and a huge investment, the grueling schedules and painful shots, we are left with aching arms.
We've decided the time has come to open our hearts to a baby who needs a loving home. But adoption is almost as expensive as infertility treatments. We'll need $22,000 on hand just to get started, and our resources are already depleted.
That's why we need your help. We want to make sure that when we get the call that says "we have a baby ready for adoption, right now," we can say yes.
